CampusLP.org

The original function of CampusLP.org was to supply campus Libertarian Party clubs with a free web site and a semi-catchy URL for long-term use on literature and posters. We're continuing that tradition, and working to expand your options and make it even easier for your group to have a useful website.

Clubs that are hosted at CampusLP.org will have a URL like (for example) "http://CampusLP.org/umass" or "http://campuslp.org/uvlp". (Of course, you can just as easily use simply "CampusLP.org/umass", or "www.campusLP.org/umass", depending on which style you want to promote with.) We also want to help groups set up independent websites (for example, www.umasslibertarians.com) if they are ready to take that step.

There are a few ways to take advantage of this service:

1. If you already have a site that you don't want to move, you can use our Redirect service, which will give you a CampusLP.org-based URL that will forward users to your existing site. This is helpful if your existing site's URL is unwieldy or not catchy.
2. If you would like to move your existing site to CampusLP.org, we can set you up with an Upload account, and give you an FTP login so that you can post your site's files here, with a URL like the ones mentioned above.
3. We're also willing to consider fully hosting your group's independent website (i.e., www.yourclubsname.org), or helping you get started with one if you don't already have full website.
4. In addition to providing hosting, we can also help you get blog or content management software set up on your site, so you and your members can easily maintain it on your own!
